First some from the garden. We are making progress and garden beds! And the little seeds we planted, have really started to come up in the 'green house' !

And now for some SPRING pictures!
First some from the garden. We are making progress and garden beds! And the little seeds we planted, have really started to come up in the 'green house' !
Now, a few pictures from our trip to the market today. My lovely neighbor are helping me and selling my cards in his stall along side his vegetables! Hurrah! What GREAT company, eh!
And finally, a few FEEL GOOD shots from just near my house. The pink are peaches (peche) and white cherry (cherise). Oh, the lovely blossoms of spring!

Day 20 - Sometimes reaching for things that are just out of reach
Thursday, March 20, 2014
Don't YOU feel that way sometimes?! I certainly do! Reaching for things, that are… juuust out of reach!
Oops, I accidentally made a spelling mistake in 'breathe' - and somehow it became the very lesson of the drawing: LET GO OF THE MISTAKES!!! Yay!
Thinking about all the wonderful girl friends out there, that I just wanna hug and share my life with!
An ode to all the women I am, and all the women in the world!

Sitting here in the garden looking at the elder trees just coming out, reminds me of Denmark. That fresh green color of the leaves, the clear blue sky. Like a perfect May day in Denmark.
We used to go out, Camilla and I, with our bikes, we rode from Charlott's house to the outdoor open festival in Lejre. The trees were green. The sky was blue. The oil seed rape (raps) fields were bright crispy yellow as yellow can be. The weather was nice, the company was good, and out there in the open fields and on bending roads, hearts were singing of joy and peace.
Oh it was a wonderful time and a precious memory.

Elderberry.

Don't know if it counts as a drawing, but the idea with the A drawing for every day in March project was to get me going, and paint, draw, so I guess in that sense it's OK ;-)
It's acrylic on wooden hard board.

I know it's hippie. And I know it works. For 30 days I am going to be listening to Louise L. Hay's "I can do it". Because I'm worth it. And so are you. Aren't we all ?!
About 5 months ago, in October, I was on a retreat to help me clear myself and change my life. I was in the good care of Lynn and Terry at Själastugan, but in many ways it was a horrible week. Changing ones life is not easy, because it means standing face to face with the roots of your life. And really see them.
In the mist (yes fog) of this process, I was fighting, dreaming, screaming, wondering, sleeping and being, all in this very wonderful spot in northern Sweden that I took 2 planes to get to.
As the week was coming to an end, and my life hadn't change (it often doesn't happen overnight ;), although sometimes it does), I was looking for affirmation, re-assurance that things were going to alright. I wanted things to be alright, but how could I be so sure, that any thing would even change at all?! And I simply couldn't bare the thought of going back to what was.
Then I looked at my hostess, a little old lady, with wrinkles and a continuous smile, and I asked her: "How can I be sure? How can I be so sure that any of this will work, and that things WILL change?". And she looked at me, with tiny eyes, and a little voice that echoed across the far end of the lake and straight back into my heart, and said: "Because you make it so".
Because you make it so.
